Properties:

blue transparent crystal, relative density: 2·29. Easily soluble in water, aqueous solution is acidic; Not soluble in methanol;glycerol; slightly soluble in ethanol.

 

Use:

1)manufacture other cupric salts; monoazo dyes;

2)as catalyst for the synthesis of perfumes and dyes intermediates;

3)as bactericide, insecticides etc.
